AT THE BELTAINE FESTIVAL OF THE FIRES,
HILL OF UISNEACH SATURDAY MAY 5th.
Calling all drummers from the four provinces.Come and drum with us as together we relight
our Anciet Ancestral Celtic Flame of Beltaine to cleanse our land and its people.This is a ceremony
of fertility good health and prosperity.The parade of light will be drummed to the summit
by the Dermot O Hara The Celtic Shaman his Students and friends of Celtic Rainbow School of Shamanism.

asap.This way we can be sure to fit everybody into our allocated space. Over the past two years this has bee a wonderful occasion for aall who took part.Children are particulary welome accompanied by an Adult.
During the day the Celtic Rainbow School will be providing Ancestral Family Healing sessions
Spiritual Pathway Readings and Family Drum Circles from the Rainbow Tipi in the Holistic Body Soul Area.
If you have a drum somewhere dig it out and dont worry if you have neve drummed before we will be more than happy to provide you with a few tips in how to join in the fun.
All proceeds will go our designated charity.This year we are supporting Pieta House.This much needed
service provides support for those dealing with Suicide ideation in Ireland. Bel-Tene a goodly fire. A Magical Ceremonial rite to encourage growth of Cattle,Crops and prosperity. This marked the start of Summer.This Celtic Festival celebrates the Sun God Lughs victory over the Darkness of Winter and the arrival of Summer.
On that evenings all fires in the house were extinguished and relit from the central fire in the village lit
with the sun rays by the local Druid. Cattle were driven around one or between two bonfires as a symbol
of purification and set free to graze the new grass of summer.
Beltaine Is heralded by the flowering of the May tree or Hawthorn Tree This is the festival of light symbolising duality ,balance and the Sacred Union of the masculine God and feminine Goddess within the land.This rite awakens the Lord and the Queen of the may to unite. May day and the May pole entering the earth symbolically represent this blessed sacred rite of union. The crowning of the May Queen and the dance around the maypole. As samhain represents the dusk of time Beltaine represents the Dawn.
These are the times when the veil between the Spirit and ours is at its finest.
